| At present, Tekla software is often used for marine engineering structural design modeling, but the manual construction of welds
one by one leads to low modeling efficiency. In response to this problem, Tekla software was developed twice, and two improved collision
detection algorithms were introduced, namely, the improved Axis-Aligned Bounding Box algorithm (AABB) and the improved Octree
algorithm, and the weld batch generation program was developed. Taking the LD5-2 project as an example, by applying the weld batch
generation function, the batch creation of 8 667 welds was successfully completed in 90 minutes. After comparing the efficiency of the two
improved collision detection algorithms, it is found that the improved AABB bounding box algorithm performs better. Compared with the
traditional Tekla manual modeling method, the efficiency of the weld batch generation method is more than 7 times. The realization of the
weld batch generation function provides a faster and more accurate weld construction method for the construction of marine engineering
structures, which significantly reduces labor cost and time consumption, and has good engineering application value and significance. |
