| Magnetic flux leakage(MFL) testing technology, ultrasonic testing technology and eddy current testing technology are widely
used in submarine pipeline inspection. Compared with MFL, ultrasonic internal inspection technology can directly and quantitatively
measure the residual wall thickness of pipeline, with higher inspection accuracy. Aiming at the problems of ultrasonic internal detector
system development and defect recognition quantification, the ultrasonic intelligent detection method of gate detection is introduced,
through engineering tests on the traffic ability and detection accuracy of the ultrasonic internal detector, the whole system development and
technical finalization are completed. Experiments show that the system can effectively find pinhole defects, the detectable rate of metal loss
defects is more than 90%, and the depth accuracy of 80% confidence is ±0.04 ~ ±0.18 mm, which can meet the needs of practical
engineering applications. |
