      海洋观测是获取海洋环境信息的重要方式,实时、可靠的操作系统是海洋观测中信息采集与处理系统的重要组成部分。实时操作系统计算的正确性不仅取决于计算的逻辑正确性,还取决于产生结果的时间。该系统具有高精度计时系统、多级中断嵌套机制和实时调度机制,这些特性保证任务在规定的时间内完成。本文对三个典型的操作系统(WindRiver公司的VxWorks、BRTT公司的Antelope和开源的RTLinux)进行研究,并从功能、关键模块以及优缺点等方面进行分析论证,详细阐述了实时操作系统的功能特性以及实时操作系统在相关领域应用的重要性。

      Marine observation serves as an important way to obtain information on the marine environment. A reliable real-time operating system (RTOS) plays an important role in the information acquisition and processing part of the marine observation system. The computational accuracy of the RTOS depends not only on the calculation logicality, but also on the time to produce results. The RTOS has a high-precision timing system, a multi-level interrupt nesting mechanism and a real-time scheduling mechanism. These features ensure the task to be completed within stipulated time. In this paper, 3 typical operating systems, including the WindRiver’s VxWorks, BRTT’s Antelope and the open source RTLinux, are discussed and analyzed on their functions, key modules as well as advantages and disadvantages, so as to elaborate the importance of the ROTS in relevant fields.
