To resolve the problems of traditional distributed wave measuring system, such as the lack of overall monitoring management and synchronous acquisition, a new type of distributed wave measuring system is developed and introduced in this paper. It consists of multiple front-end data acquisition units and data monitoring and management server. After powering on the system, the data monitoring and management server synchronizes the time of data acquisition units which carries out precise timing, triggering and control synchronizing, so as to collect multi-channel data. The data monitoring and management server can achieve the real-time monitoring, analysis, storage, inquiry and download for wave height and wave period data. According to the results of comparative tests, the novel system is characterized by accurate measurement and good monitoring management, which has a promising prospect in future applications. |
